writing + storytelling
I never set out to be a writer. But some stories nag, want to be listened to and wrestled with. I started writing for my only child, wishing to leave some traces of my/our story. The attempts took many genre-bending forms over the years, and eventually became a kind of auto-mythology.
I am honored to be a part of the Women's National Book Association as a 2022 Authentic Voices Fellow, and to have this story published in their forthcoming anthology in 2023. And I look forward to more writing, creative collaborations, embodied listening, and intentional trace leaving, whether for my own stories, or witnessing and assisting with yours.
